The exhibition "Personalities of the Albanian League of Prizren" marks the 142nd anniversary of the League of Prizren

Under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, in honor of the 142nd anniversary of the Albanian League of Prizren, tonight in Prizren was opened the exhibition "Personalities of the Albanian League of Prizren".

The event, led by the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Vlora Dumoshi, was attended by Assembly Speaker Vjosa Osmani, the Minister of Defense, Anton Quni and other personalities from the political sphere.

On this occasion, Minister Dumoshi, in the role of host of the organization, said that through this exhibition, all the most important national gatherings of the Albanian League of Prizren are being brought to attention.

"Tonight we are together to bring to attention all the most important Albanian national gatherings of the League of Prizren. In order to preserve the territorial integrity, our patriots, 142 years ago managed to form the political and military organization the Albanian League of Prizren”.

Further, the Minister said "Tonight, with added caution, due to the confrontation with pandemic, and jointly committed to return to work in institutions, we are here for the presentation of the exhibition "Personalities of the Albanian League of Prizren” of the author Prof. dr. Parim Kosovo, an exhibition made with dedication and professionalism, containing photographs, portraits of ideologues, leaders, clerics, martyrs, fighters and many activists of the League of Prizren.

"This event honors the work and contribution of all ideologues, activists and martyrs who created the League, of which we are proud, a League that the late President Dr. Ibrahim Rugova called it the most complete movement for the Albanian state after the strong resistance of Gjergj Kastriot "- added the minister.

The author of the exhibition, Parim Kosova, gave details about the exhibition, who said that since 1996 he had started collecting these photographs and is the first researcher to have researched extensively in Albanian areas such as Kosovo, Northern Macedonia and Albania, and further abroad, such as Thessaloniki, Istanbul, Italy and Austria, to bring this collection of photographs of immense value.
