University of Prishtina, world champion in university handball

The University of Prishtina has written history, being declared the world champion in university handball.

Our team defeated Kangwon University of South Korea, in the final of the World Cup, which was held for a week in Prishtina.

The final was closely watched by Prime Minister Albin Kurti, Deputy Minister of MCYS, Daulina Osmani, President of KOC, Ismet Krasniqi and other senior dignitaries from FISU and the organizer, University Sports Federation.

Also today, in the women's category, the handball players of the University of Prishtina won the bronze medal.
