The procedures for the feasibility study regarding the National Stadium "Dardania Arena" are underway

The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports would like to inform that it has started with the procurement procedures for the Feasibility Study of the National Sports Center and the National Football Stadium "Dardania Arena" in Bërnicë e Poshtme of the Municipality of Prishtina.

The procedure that is being applied for this procurement activity is the Restricted Procedure which has been open for this pre-qualifying phase from 9 June 2017 to 10 July 2017.

In total, nine requests for participation were submitted in electronic form through the procurement platform, while eight in physical form (hard). Requests for participation are mainly Consortiums / International Partnerships from England, America, Germany, Spain, France, Italy, Albania and Kosovo.

These requests for participation will be evaluated and examined by a professional committee which, in addition to MCYS officials, has delegated and authorized representatives from the Institutions that can contribute to the fairest evaluation and examination of this Procurement activity, experts regarding this field, from:

• Kosovo Football Federation;
•Municipality of Prishtina; and
• Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture of the University of Prishtina "Hasan Prishtina".

Also, the whole process of evaluation and examination of this procurement activity will be closely monitored by the official representatives of the Anti-Corruption Agency.

The whole process of evaluation and examination until the signing of the contract with the selected operator will be conducted by the Procurement Division at MCYS in full compliance with the provisions of the Public Procurement Law in Kosovo with procurement no. 04 /L-042 as amended and supplemented by Law no. 04/L-237, Law no. 05 / L-068 and the Law no. 05/L-092.
