The draft law on Ratification of the Agreement for the Establishment of the Regional Youth Cooperation Office has been approved

Today at the meeting of the Kosovo Government, the draft law on ratification of the Agreement for the Establishment of the Regional Youth Cooperation Office between Kosovo, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia and Serbia, has been approved.

The Ministry of Culture considers this as an important step in enhancing regional cooperation between youth institutions.

This agreement shall affect the implementation of joint programs based on the values of coexistence, tolerance and respect for human rights and in coordinating cooperation between the youth of the Western Balkans.

The agreement on the Establishment of the Regional Youth Cooperation Office between Kosovo, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia and Serbia, is the basis for future cooperation including the value of diversity with a focus on the principles of democratic governance, development of education and innovation.

Regional Youth Cooperation Office operates as an independent institutional mechanism for youth cooperation which was established in the agreement signed on July 4, 2016 from the above-mentioned countries.
