Minister Gashi met with the Italian Ambassador Sardi

Minister Kujtim Gashi hosted today in an introductory meeting the Italian Ambassador to Kosovo, Piero Cristoforo Sardi, with whom he talked about the cooperation of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports with the Italian Embassy.

The Minister and Ambassador praised the excellent relations between Kosovo and Italy in general, especially for the joint commitment and coordination of the Embassy and MCYS in the realization of concrete projects with the aim of achieving ministry plans and policies.

Minister Gashi thanked the ambassador and through him the state of Italy for the contribution that the Italian people have given in support of the state of Kosovo. The Minister has singled out the support of the embassy in the projects that are in the interest of MCYS saying that by intensifying cooperation, the benefit will be greater.

The Minister also briefed the ambassador about the objectives aimed to be achieved by developing policies that benefit the advancement of the areas under the Ministry's responsibility.

On his part, Ambassador Sardi thanked Minister Gashi for the reception and congratulated him for taking office.

The Italian ambassador said that the embassy will support not only the ministry but also Kosovo in its international affirmation processes such as membership in UNESCO. The ambassador Sardi said he will support the ministry in advancing the legal infrastructure.
