Slovenia and Kosovo with common cultural concert

Deputy Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Rexhep Hoti, welcomed in a meeting the Ambassador of Slovenia to Kosovo, Miljan Majhen, with whom he discussed joint cultural events between Kosovo and Slovenia, as well as further deepening of cooperation between the two countries.

Deputy Minister Hoti praised the contribution and cooperation that the Slovenian state has with Kosovo, and praised the concretization of joint cultural projects. He expressed the readiness of MCYS to promote cultural values of Kosovo through the support of various organizations and initiatives, which is a policy of the ministry.

Meanwhile, Slovenian Ambassador Majhen thanked Deputy Minister Hoti for the expressed willingness, so the exchange of experiences on cultural activities and organizations can be finalized on concrete joint projects. Slovenian Ambassador informed Deputy Minister Hoti about organizing a cultural campaign which will take place in early May in Eastern European countries including the Republic of Kosovo as an opportunity to transmit cultural values of the Balkan region into the European Union.

Majhen, later said that in the frame of this campaign in Prishtina will be held a concert, in which artists from Slovenia and Kosovo will jointly perform.

The two agreed to organize such an event in Kosovo, which is an opportunity to convey the cultural values of our country and get an even greater promotion of Kosovo in the EU.
