MCYS invests 1 million and 200 thousand Euros for the cultural centers in Suhareka and Vushtrri

Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, in the wake of capital investments for the construction and renovation of cultural centers in the municipalities of Kosovo, has signed today two memorandums of cooperation with the municipality of Suhareka and Vushtrri.

The memorandum between the MCYS and and the Municipality of Suhareka is signed for "The construction of the House of Culture Uke Bytyqi in Suhareka", and is in the financial value of 950 thousand euro.

On this occasion, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Kujtim Shala, said that the investments being made in the centers of culture throughout municipalities in Kosovo, by building new facilities or renovating the existing ones, are political aims to improve cultural infrastructure in Kosovo, with the aim of creating more favorable and contemporary conditions, to be able to carry out cultural activities in the municipalities of Kosovo, and added that these investments will continue in other municipalities, too.

Mayor of Suhareka, Sali Asllanaj, thanked Minister Shala for the fruitful cooperation in many fields, and especially now for this capital investment in Suhareka, where, the municipality will have a modern house of culture.

Meanwhile, the memorandum between the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports and the Municipality of Vushtrri, was signed with the purpose of financial support for the project "Cultural Center Hasan Prishtina in Vushtrri", with a financial value of 250 thousand euro.

Minister Kujtim Shala and Mayor Bajram Mulaku, praised the cooperation between MCYS and the Municipality, and said that this investment is of particular importance to the cultural environment of the city, because it shall create better conditions for all those who will perform cultural activities in this facility.
