MCYS currently has 18 projects under implementation in the Municipality of Prizren

The Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Vlora Dumoshi, in the framework of today's visit to the Municipality of Prizren, accompanied by the Minister of Local Government Administration, Emilia Rexhepi, had a meeting with the Mayor Mytaher Haskuka, where projects to be invested in this municipality by the MCYS were discussed.

Minister Dumoshi and Mayor Haskuka also signed a memorandum of cooperation between the MCYS and the Municipality of Prizren. Its purpose is the Construction of the House of Culture in the village of Manastirica in this municipality, in the financial value of 300 thousand euros, a project which will be implemented during 2020-2022.

On this occasion, Minister Dumoshi said that many projects are planned for Prizren and praised this city for its diversity and cultural heritage.

"Today, I am delighted that we signed this memorandum which is very important for that part. Prizren is the most beautiful city and shows cultural diversity. The Ministry of Culture has about 18 projects that are being implemented ", said among others the Minister.

Minister Dumoshi also singled out the Filigree Museum project and briefed about a sports hall.

"We are concluding an agreement with the municipality for the Filigree Museum. The Minister who has done an extraordinary job for Prizren is also here. We will see how we can include in the budget of 2021 the construction of a sports hall", said the Minister, pledging support for the festivals held in Prizren.

Meanwhile, the mayor of Prizren, Mytaher Haskuka said that the MCYS has many projects in Prizren.

“The Minister also discussed many projects that are being implemented in this municipality. We have many projects with the MCYS. Today we have the project of building the House of Culture in the village of Manastirica, which are really important projects in the villages. In addition to this agreement, we discussed the progress of other projects, too. I thank Mrs. Dumoshi for the support ", said Haskuka.
