Minister Dumoshi has visited today the National Gallery of Kosovo on the occasion of the launch of the activity of the Gallery, after the pandemic.

The Minister was received by the Director of KNG, Arta Bunjaku Agani, by the staff of the Gallery and the sculptor Burim Gashi, whose exhibition has been reopened after the pandemic.

Minister Dumoshi expressed her satisfaction that she is visiting the Gallery and that after a period of closure due to pandemics, art lovers already have the opportunity to visit the Gallery.

During this visit, the Minister went through the open exhibition ‘Heavy Silence’, which shows the recent works of Kosovar sculptor Burim Gashi and recounts the emotional consequences of the traumatic events that were created by the war, violence and uncertainty regarding missing people. In this new series of works, the author also shows the personal and traumatic experiences that the war and the following decades have caused to him and the Kosovar society.

The director of KNG, Bunjaku-Agani, on the other hand, was delighted that the first visitor of the opening of the Gallery to the public, after the pandemic, is Minister Dumoshi herself. She also thanked the Minister for the continuous interest and for the cooperation she has shown from the beginning, with the KNG.

Minister Dumoshi, among other things, emphasized that she is committed to continuing and has pushed forward the work for the regulation of conditions within the KNG, as this would facilitate the work for staff but at the same time would create better conditions for visitors and art lovers of the Gallery.
