"Agimi" and "Rugova" with a meritorious legal status

The Cultural-Artistic Society "Agimi" from Prizren and the Autochthonous Folklore Ensemble "Rugova" from Peja, will have a well-deserved legal status. ShKA "Agimi" and AFA "Rugova" will have a special status under Law no. 04 / L-164 for the National Song and Dance Ensemble "Shota" and other ensem-bles.

This initiative is within my priorities as Minister for advancing the legal framework. At MCYS we have already begun to engage a working group for the Concept Paper that as a procedure will be the first step to supplementing and amending the Law. This group will also be members of a representative of these two cultural societies.

All this is due to the length of time since their founding so far, and both have over 7 decades of artistic activity and creativity, which has preserved, cultivated and promoted values, traditions, clothing and our cultural characteristics by continuously enriching our culture in general and passing values from one generation to the other.
