Minister Gashi met with the German Ambassador, Christian Heldt

Minister Kujtim Gashi hosted today in an informative meeting, the German Ambassador to Kosovo, Christian Heldt, with whom he discussed the cooperation between Kosovo and Germany.

The Minister thanked the German Ambassador Heldt and through him the German government and people for the unremitting and continued help they have given to Kosovo in all areas, especially in the field of culture, cultural heritage, sports and youth.

Minister Gashi emphasized that Germany is one of the Kosovo's ally and friend states. He added that the MCYS and the German Embassy in Kosovo have collaborated on many projects of common interest and expects that this cooperation will be further deepened in the areas that are seen as priorities by both sides.

Meanwhile, the Ambassador Christian Heldt congratulated Minister Gashi for taking up the new office and reaffirmed that Germany will continue to be in support of Kosovo in the future. He stressed that embassy support in concrete projects will continue, with emphasis on youth and culture.

Minister Gashi and Ambassador Heldt agreed to deepen further cooperation in the field of culture and youth in order to get people together through exchanges and cultural activities.
