Minister Dumoshi: Kosovo has made progress in sports infrastructure

Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Vlora Dumoshi, along with the President of the Football Federation of Kosovo, Fadil Vokrri, met today with the President of UEFA, Alexander Ceferin, with whom she talked about developments in football in Kosovo and about numerous investments being made by the MCYS in order to improve the sports infrastructure in the country.

Minister Dumoshi said that Kosovo has made progress in sports infrastructure and is also working with added dynamics in order to improve the quality of sports infrastructure according to UEFA recommendations.

Also, Minister Dumoshi thanked President Ceferin for the continued support that UEFA has given to football in Kosovo, especially after Kosovo's membership into the organization, and added that this is a great achievement of Kosovo.

After the meeting, Minister Dumoshi, together with the President Ceferin and the president of FFK, Vokrri, inspected the works at the Prishtina Stadium.

UEFA President Alexander Ceferin was pleased with the dynamics of the works at the stadium.

While Minister Dumoshi said that MCYS will the work to realize the remaining investment, aiming to accomplish as soon the whole renovation of this stadium.

Dumoshi on this occasion also thanked FFK President, Fadil Vokrrin for his tireless commitment for the development and advancement of sport in Kosovo.

In the framework of the visit, UEFA President Ceferin, accompanied by Minister Dumoshi and president of FFK, Vokrri, also stayed at the Museum House of Independence "Ibrahim Rugova".
