95 thousand euros for the Paralympics Committee of Kosovo and two Federation

In the framework of direct support to the work of sports federations, the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports has signed today a memorandum of cooperation with the Paralympic Committee of Kosovo and two sports federations.

Paralympic Committee of Kosovo will be financially supported through signed memorandums with 25 thousand euros, with the aim of realizing the objectives and plans for 2017, while the Federation of Kick-boxing will be supported with 45 thousand euros and the Federation of sport workers will be supported with 25 thousand euros.

MCYS will support Federation programs through these actions and create incentives to enable the latter to plan and operate on a more independent way to improve the sport of Kosovo.

On this occasion, Minister Shala congratulated the leaders of Federation for their work and the development of sports in Kosovo. Shala also encouraged representatives of Paralympics Committee of Kosovo on inclusion and motivating people with disabilities to be the part of the sport.

He said that MCYS is working on many directions to help the sport of Kosovo, by investing in the physical and legal infrastructure of modern standards, directly supporting the sport by financing the federations. In this way, the minister said, the sport of Kosovo will obtain better quality and be better represented at the international arena.
