MYCS continues support for the sports federations

As part of its continued support to Kosovo's sports federations, the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports signed several Memoranda of Understanding with several associations, including Aeronautical Federation, Alpine Mountaineer Federation, Archery Federation, Federation for Visually Impaired Sports, Skiing and Chess Federation.

The total amount of support for these federations is 265,000 EUR.

Through these memoranda, MYCS supports federation programmes and creates incentives for them to apply and function in an independent way, thus strengthen Kosovar sports.

Minister Shala congratulated federation heads on the work they have been doing to develop Kosovo sports and stated that MYCS was working on certain plans to help the Kosovo sports involving infrastructure, modern legislation, subsidies in order to further advance sports and ensure viable representation in the international arena.
