MCYS supports the work of the National Theater

The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports supports the independent work and functioning of the National Theater of Kosovo, as well as all national cultural institutions of Kosovo.

MCYS considers that creative freedom and the independent functioning of cultural institutions can not be compromised in any case.

The decision-making and the independent functioning of institutions are fundamental values of our society.

Kosovo's National Theater, through its mechanisms, decides independently for the repertoire and its realization.

MCYS estimates that no one has the right to interfere with the independent work of NT, and requires responsible institutions to guarantee normal working conditions.
